dc.description.abstractThe objective of this project is to design an information security model applicable to higher education institutions that allows effective control of their processes. The development of the project starts with the characterization of the different existing processes in the higher education institutions of the Norte de Santander, Colombia, it is compared with the standards or good practices of security of the existing information, which allows structuring the elements that make up the model of information security for higher education institutions and, finally, the validation of the model designed in a higher education institution.en_US
